This shows the phase 2 of the project (The Wharf) that included many complicated designs and coordination with all the DC agencies and A/E team, which included over 6+ architects, 20+ engineers, but I was the main civil engineer on the designs for the project. This project included stormwater management, land development, utility connection, truck routing analysis, road design, etc.
Gladys: “The Southwest Waterfront is one of the most notable projects I have worked on. The site was over 30 acres of land, and for the project, I was a part of many different aspects of the engineering – from truck turning analysis, utility infrastructure, road design, green infrastructure, and land development. The project was split up into several segments of which I was a major contributing factor. During the project, I did several ‘Requests for Information’ and many surveys ‘As-builts’ for stormwater management. I designed many of the “Best Management Practices” and computed all the calculations for the site. Moreover, I was fully responsible for the grading of the roads.”
